Bill Medley & Jennifer Warnes - (I've Had) The Time of My Life [1987]

Bill Medley est une des moitiés du duo The Righteous Brothers. Né le 19 septembre 1940 à Santa Ana, en Californie, Bill fait une longue carrière, aux côtés de son acolyte Bobby Hatfield, au sein donc, des Righteous Brothers. A partir de 1967, il décide de poursuivre une carrière solo. Ils enregistrent quelques titres, avant de signer chez A&M et d'enregistrer, un premier "vrai" album, "A Song For You", en 1971. Le succès n'est pas au rendez-vous et trois ans plus tard, Righteous Brothers se reforment, mettant de surcroît, sa carrière solo, en pause. Il revient donc seul, en 81, avec "Sweet Thunder" et quelques opus.

Jennifer Jean Warnes (née le 3 mars 1947 à Seattle) est une compositeur et chanteuse américaine. Elle est surtout connue pour avoir interprété des duos comme avec Joe Cocker sur le titre "Up Where We Belong" en 1982 et avec Bill Medley sur "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" qui est la bande originale du film Dirty Dancing sortie en 1987.
