Wham! est un groupe culte des années 80 et celui qui a fait découvrir George Michael au monde entier. En 1981, en Angleterre, George Michael donc et Andrew Rigdeley décident de monter un groupe, entre pop et dance. L'aventure débute avec le premier single "Young Guns (Go for It)", qui pulverise le sommet des charts anglais à la fin de l'année 1982, propulsant Wham! au rang de stars. Leur premier album "Fantastic", qui sort l'année suivante connaît le même succès. Logiquement, le groupe envahit les Etats-Unis et cartonne aussi là-bas, avec le fameux "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go", que tout le monde a encore dans la tête. En 1984, "Make It Big" sort dans les bacs, suivi deux ans plus tard de "Music From the Edge of Heaven". Après de nombreux concerts à travers le monde, Wham! met un point final à sa carrière en organisant un énorme show au stade de Wembley en 1986, avant que le grand George parte en solo, pour de nouvelles aventures...
